Annual Family Volunteer Hour Requirements
Each family is required to support Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School. Many opportunities are available throughout the year. Stewardship opportunities are listed in RenWeb. Bingo activity is recorded by Bingo coordinator. Parents/guardians are asked to log all stewardship hours in the Main Office by May 31, 2020. Parents must choose one of the following:

Provide twenty-five (25) hours of stewardship service at Saint Gregory the Great and work two (2) nights of Friday bingo. Parents will have the opportunity to provide supplies to SGGS. They will be awarded one hour for every $5 spent, for a maximum of 10 purchased hours. (Failure to meet stewardship requirements will result in a $25 fee per hour not completed. Failure to complete 2 nights of Friday bingo will result in a $100 fee per night not completed.)
- Pay a one time fee of $625 to opt-out of both stewardship service and bingo obligation.
Diocese requires any individual working or volunteering (including parents) in a Catholic school to submit the Diocese of Richmond Screening One Application Form and enroll in the VIRTUS program “Protecting God’s Children” including completion of the four-hour training session. Volunteers are also required to read, sign, and return the Diocesan Safe Environment Regulations handbook.
Volunteers working with the children must submit the following documents to the Main Office. If you work Bingo, this information is not needed.
